Warehouse Management

Enterprise Transport Management can interface to Warehouse Management systems (WMS) using the standard output EDI Interface. WMS vary in the way in which they are implemented within a business and therefore the interfaces can vary in functionality.

Enterprise Transport Management offers a number of standard EDI Interface options but these are often augmented with additional development to take into account the specific requirements of business.

The standard outputs from Enterprise Transport Management to WMS include:-

• Job status changes
• Planned/confirmed delivery times for jobs
• Required/planned resources.

The returning information from WMS to Enterprise Transport Management includes:-

• Departure times
• Ability to load, i.e. capability to fulfil order
