EDI Interface
The EDI Interface enables order related data to be entered into the system electronically.
Data can be fed into the interface in a predefined format (ASCII, CSV etc), and will then be converted
to valid orders in Enterprise Transport Management.
The EDI Interface also offers an exceptions management routine for the onward management of files that fail the validation
process.
Many companies provide their order related data in the form of an EDI message, or as a file extract from
their SOP system. In these instances the EDI Interface will be used.
Company specific rules can be added into the interface by Enterprise Software so as to minimise the number of rejected records,
although these can be rectified once held in the correction file.
