Some operations outsource all of the maintenance, others have their own workshops and often provide these services to third parties. Workshops can be driven by SLA's and therefore it is essential to keep a keen eye on vehicle downtime.

Some purchase stock for their vehicle stores, whilst others operate on an impressed stock basis. Some issue parts manually from stock, others automate the process and use bar-codes and readers. 

Some want to implement the latest technologies in the form of Touchscreens, others are happy to work with printed job cards.

MAINTENANCE SCHEDULING 
This system will support next event and 12-monthly scheduling, driven by time or distance. A maintenance profile can be defined and then assigned to a single or group of vehicles. Each profile contains information relating to the activities that need to be undertaken against a vehicle on a regular basis. This can be used to assist in the adherence to O-Licence requirements or simply allow you to keep an accurate record of what maintenance activity needs to be undertaken, and  when. Various reports can be generated in relation to events due, by date, by repair type, by operation etc. A 12-Month chart can be created to reflect planned activity across a year.

 
 
 
 

 

SUB-CONTRACTOR CONTROL 
This part of the system records maintenance which has been undertaken by an external or third party supplier. The system will generate a purchase order for each job against which, labour, parts and miscellaneous cost can be detailed. It is driven by VMRS codes therefore making reporting, cost apportionment, and general analysis quick and easy. The module can be interfaced with your purchase ledger, therefore eliminating data duplication and providing you with a seamless efficient solution.

VEHICLE AVAILABILITY 
This module provides benefits to the fleet administrator, the workshop manager and the end-user of a vehicle by keeping everyone aware of a vehicle's downtime and it's progress whilst being repaired/serviced. From the time it is presented to the workshop to the time the end-user is notified that the vehicle is ready for collection it's progress is tracked. Any delays incurred are flagged if they fall outside the normal parameters and at the end of a job a full analysis can be made, where downtime, if any, has been incurred. The whole aim being to keep in line with agreed SLA's and provide early visibility of performance in order to reduce the risk of any part of an operation incurring unnecessary cost.

 

STORES MANAGEMENT 
Provides the functionality you would expect to manage a workshop parts store operation. An inventory can be generated based on owned or impressed stock, or both and in some instances the system can be configured to update third party systems so that stock replenishment is automatic. Against each part a user is able to record stock holding, view issues and returns and access preferred supplier information. In addition they can easily process stock takes, input adjustments and run suggested order reports.

 

WORKSHOP MANAGEMENT 
This module has been designed to help manage all aspects of workshop activity, both productive and non-productive. All parts issued to jobs, labour booked to repair lines and miscellaneous costs can be broken down by repair code and because the system is driven by a comprehensive and established industry standard coding system,  after the event analysis is easy.  It seamlessly links to other areas of the system; Stores Management, Invoicing (for cross charging) Personnel and Accident Management, to provide a complete picture.  

 

TOUCHSCREEN - STORES & WORKSHOP
Offers a comprehensive, easy to use, touch screen solution for the  workshop and stores departments. In the workshop it reduces the need for printed job cards as the mechanic can receive their instructions and record their activites, both productive and non-propductive, real-time. All parts held in stock can be issued directly from the same touchscreen terminals or through the use of handheld bar-code readers.
