Auto Route Allocation

Auto Route Allocation allows haulage routes that are regularly travelled to be predefined within the system. These routes can be as simple or complex as the business demands and can include the predefined rules of the trunking activity between depots.

When orders are entered into the system, Auto Route Allocation will identify and allocate the job to the final delivery depot.

It will then examine the predefined trunking routes that exist to see how the job is going to get from the original collection location (customer or warehouse etc.) and reach the final delivery location before creating the required haulage legs within the system automatically.

All depots that the order will ultimately need to pass through to reach the final delivery depot will gain visibility of their in and outbound traffic at the earliest possible stage, thereby enabling them to plan their activity accordingly.

At the point the final delivery depot is identified the system will also try and match the order detail with a pre-defined delivery route. If it matches a route and there is space on the next run it will be assigned accordingly. If there is no space it will create a new pre-defined route for further orders to be allocated to.
